A workshop on how to develop a music clip from song choice to pitch. Describes the concept, the story, the design and the technique.

The workshop is hosted by Yuval Nathan, leading Israeli animator, winner of many awards at international festivals, nominated for a Grammy for “Her Morning Elegance” and winner of the prestigious “Annie”. He created most of his works with his partner, animator Merav Nathan. Their work is well known in the global arena and is highly acclaimed in the field of stop motion animation and animation that combines rhythm and music.

Eyal Boers, chairman of the Israel Film Council, head of the Film and TV track at Ariel University School of Communication and director of the documentaries “Anna Frank’s Classmates” and “Live or Die in Entebbe”, will lecture on funding for Israeli cinema, the cinema law, the Film Council, support criteria and the reforms since July 2018, with an emphasis on regional films.

The Israeli Documentary Filmmakers Forum, Gesher Multicultural Film Fund, KAN Broadcasting Company, yes docu and the New Fund for Television and Cinema

Documentary pitching for students, produced by the Israeli Documentary Filmmakers Forum and the Cinema South Festival. The pitching event, founded by Osnat Trabelsi, is in its 15th year. The purpose is to promote young filmmakers and integrate them in the documentary film and TV industry. Projects from all the local film schools take part. Participants will pitch their films to the lectors committee. The three winning projects will be awarded production grants from broadcast entities and film funds.
