When Captain Densen wakes up and realizes what has happened, he decides to risk entering enemy territory to find the young couple. Jauja is the story of a man’s desperate search for his daughter. A lonely journey that leads us to a place beyond time, a place where the past has disappeared and the future has no meaning. The film took part in the official competition at the Cannes Film Festival in 2014 and won the critic’s prize.
